Karen Fedderson's Landscape paintings focus mainly on four areas of California:
*SANTA BARBARA encompasses Ventura County and all of Santa Barbara County.
*SAN LUIS OBISPO is from Los Alamos on north through Moro Bay.
MONTEREY & BIG SUR encompasses from south of Carmel (Bib Sur) and north to Moonstone Bay.
*CALIFORNIA NORTH COAST is beyond San Francisco, up Hwy 1 to the Oregon border.
*CALIFORNIA SOUTH COAST is new area for me to explore. Loving the intense sunsets and beautiful coastal cliffs. Covers San Diego to Malibu
In my travels the lyrical landscapes of inland areas of California get my attention. My paintings of the gentle rolling hills, lakes and creeks are captured with the same emotionally charged sensitivity as My coastal paintings.
